March 6, 2009 — No comments — I've not left yet, but after this week's problems and questionable news on the radio I decided to check the live departure boards online. It doesn't look good. Wish me luck.
March 5, 2009 — No comments — Manningtree is causing problems again. I'm sitting on the station, on a bench, not entirely warm, waiting for another delayed train into work. This morning it's overhead line problems at Manningtree causing the hold-up. Yesterday it was a vehicle strike. Delays on three days out of four so far this week. It isn't getting any better.
March 2, 2009 — No comments — Another Monday morning of delays. This time it was signalling problems, which isn't entirely uncommon. I find it very suspicious that these issues most often crop up on a Monday, after a weekend when much of the line has been closed for maintenance.
