Our train our of London broke down half way to Stratford this evening, and a 30-minute journey turned into a two and a half hour slog on three trains, stopping at almost every station on the line.

Kit failure at Bethnal Green

What a crappy night on the trains. I got to Liverpool Street at 18h40 after a go-slow on the tube and the 48 still didn’t have a platform. Neither was there any idea of when it would arrive – as every minute ticked by, the estimate slid another minute into the future.
